Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-08-27

At Alventic we handle your personal data with care. This policy explains what data we collect through this website, why, on what legal basis, who we share it with, and the rights you have. We apply the stricter standard between the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Costa Rica's Law No. 8968.

1. Data controller

Emergea Latam S.R.L. (company ID [cédula jurídica]), operating under the Alventic brand, with its registered office at [registered address], Costa Rica.

For anything related to your data or this policy, contact us at hello@alventic.com.

2. What data we collect

Through the contact form we collect only the data you provide:

  • Name.
  • Company or organisation (optional).
  • Email address.
  • The description of the problem or enquiry you send us.
  • The timeframe you indicate.
  • A record of your consent, with date and time.

For security, our hosting provider may temporarily log technical data such as your IP address in server logs. We do not use tracking cookies, profiling or analytics tools. Fonts are served from our own domain, so no information is shared with Google when you visit the site.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We process your data to read and answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to take steps prior to engaging our services.

The legal basis is your explicit consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a); Law 8968 art. 5), given when you tick the form checkbox, and pre-contractual measures at your request (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)). We do not use your data for any other purpose and make no automated decisions.

4. Recipients and processors

We do not sell or rent your data. To provide the service we rely on processors that act on our behalf, under contract and bound by confidentiality:

  • Email delivery: EmailJS, Inc. (EE. UU. / USA), which transmits the form content to our inbox.
  • Site hosting and database: [proveedor de alojamiento / hosting provider].

5. International transfers

Some of our processors are located outside Costa Rica and the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States. Where this happens, the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (GDPR art. 46) or equivalent mechanisms recognised under Costa Rican law. You can request information about these safeguards by contacting us.

6. Retention period

We keep the form data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any relationship that may follow. After that, we keep it restricted only while legal liabilities may arise and, in any case, no longer than [24 months] from the last contact, unless a legal obligation requires otherwise. It is then securely deleted.

7. Your rights

You may exercise at any time the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection, and you may withdraw your consent (withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it).

To exercise them, write to hello@alventic.com stating the right you wish to exercise. We will respond within the legal time limits, free of charge.

8. Complaints

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you may lodge a complaint:

  • In the European Union, with the supervisory authority in your country (for example, the Spanish Data Protection Agency, AEPD).
  • In Costa Rica, with the Agency for the Protection of Data of Inhabitants (PRODHAB).

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. Access to form data is restricted to the people who need it to reply to you.

10. Minors

This site and our services are aimed at companies and professionals. They are not intended for minors, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. The “last updated” date indicates the current version. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
